Julia Mumford, CEO of JuJu Models & Talent Management, became involved in the talent and fashion industry in 1998 when her daughter participated in the Hal Jackson’s Talented Teen International Scholarship Competition in Bergen County New Jersey.

After the competition, her daughter decided to pursue a modeling career bringing mom along.

 

Julia volunteered to be a part of the staff of Uniting Talented Youth Inc. of New Jersey. Sponsors of NJ Talented Teens and through the years devoted herself to working with the participants in the competition.  She saw a way to encourage young ladies to pursue their performing arts dreams.

 

In 2002, she was prompted to start a division of the Talented Teens Scholarship Competition (a non–profit organization) in Monmouth County New Jersey.  Julia, assisted by volunteers, worked closely with the young ladies of Monmouth County in preparation for the annual competition. Even though some of the young ladies were not suited for performing arts, they possessed other talents such as modeling and designing, which Julia encouraged them to explore.

 

 

 

Founded in 2004, JuJu Models and Talent Management, a young and aggressive company based in New Jersey, specializes in home grown talent of all ages and ethnicity. Our talent are submitted for jobs in print, television, film and stage.  We also provide talent for other services such as Hosts/Hostesses, Product Specialists, Demonstrators for Conventions, Trade and Consumer shows.

 

Through our website, our talent are presented and marketed to many modeling and talent agencies, advertisers and casting directors in the Tri-State area.  We scout constantly to find new talent; we then turn that talent into professional, reliable successful models.

 

We also work hard to ensure that our clients, the people who employ models for work, are pleased with our personal service and our models. We listen carefully to their needs and are attentive, responsive, and industrious in our approach. So our models must be, too.

 

JuJu Models & Talent Management represent models as well as talent in the performing arts; such as singers, dancers, and actors.  Our creative section also looks after hair and make up artists, designers, and other professionals in fashion and production.
